Features of the church organization of Buddhism in Buryatia

The article gives a brief overview of some features of the regional forms of Buddhism (on the example of Buryatia), considers the specifics of Buryat Buddhism, which is closely related to the peculiarities of the social organization of the Buryat society. Despite thorough studies of this problem, there remains a lot of obscure and debatable things in it, which makes it difficult to understand certain aspects of Buryat ecclesiastical Buddhism.
