The digitalization of all spheres of human activity has become a global trend of the last decade. The article is devoted to the distinctive characteristics of digital transformation in the labor market. The author analyzed the reports of experts from Global Education Futures (GEF) and WorldSkills Russia of different years, considered the global trend of accelerating the emergence of innovations and their development. The legal and regulatory framework of the Russian Federation in the field of digital transformation and changes in the regulation of remote work has been studied. The key skills of an employee in the economy of the future are identified, possible risks are highlighted, and recommendations for the development of competencies in the context of rapid volatility and high competition are presented.
