Theoretical foundations of studying the level and quality of life of the population

The regions of Russia are characterized by high differentiation in terms of income, professional training, level of education, access to healthcare services, in terms of overall health and, as a result, in terms of living standards, which has become one of the key development problems. In this paper, the problem of regional differentiation of the level and quality of life is studied, and the existing summary indicators of the quality of life in Russia are considered.
