Features of the Russian Federation media discourse

The article discusses the features of the mass media of the Russian Federation as a phenomenon in the life of Russian society. The issues of qualitative content of the Russian media discourse at the stage of its formation and at the present stage are analyzed. The characteristics of news, advertising, political discourse as communicative areas of imposition on the media discourse area of the Russian Federation are given. An analysis of modern printing methods, as well as the features of the choice of color printing solutions for printed publications, depending on which segment of the audience they are aimed at, is given. The features of the linguistic characteristics of this discourse, its textual non-verbalism, as well as the problem of multimodality as one of the main reasons for qualitatively specific changes in the media discourse of the Russian Federation in comparison with the Soviet period of this discourse are touched upon. An attempt is made to track modern information trends in Russian discourse. The author uses a descriptive research method, including such techniques as observation, generalization and cognitive interpretation.
