Statement of the problem. Learning foreign languages is one of the most popular areas of modern education. This is due to the need to gain knowledge, if you work and cannot attend educational institutions, then it is possible to receive education remotely. Chinese is one of the most difficult languages to learn. That is why, first of all, this applies to senior students. Currently, there is a problem in developing an effective methodology using interactive online technologies when teaching remotely the Chinese language to senior students of Russian universities specializing in the humanities. These issues are reflected in this article. The purpose of the article is to analyze the distance learning of the Chinese language for senior students of Russian universities specializing in the humanities. Methodology (materials and methods). The research methodology is based on the analysis and generalization of scientific research works of foreign and Russian authors and the experience of teaching Chinese to senior students of Russian universities specializing in the humanities. Research results. The results of our analysis showed the following: at present, there is a problem in developing an effective methodology using interactive online technologies when teaching Chinese remotely to senior students of Russian universities specializing in the humanities. Conclusion. The approach proposed in the article is based on the development and assessment of students’ skills. The level of competence can be assessed from various points of view, the most important of which are pedagogical and psychological. The amount of knowledge and skills used by students can be reflected in the changing level of knowledge of individual students.
