Features of financing public-private partnership projects (on the example of the Orel region)

The use of public-private partnership (PPP) mechanisms is especially relevant at the present stage of development of the Russian economy. The article considers the conditions for attracting and distributing financial resources for the implementation of public-private partnership (PPP) projects. An analysis of PPP financing in various sectors of the economy showed that the majority of projects are being implemented in the utilities and energy sector. The dynamics of the number of PPP projects for the period 2011-2020 is analyzed. and their cost. To improve the competitive environment in the Oryol region, it is proposed to create and improve its own production facilities along with updating the regulatory framework and attracting even more private investment.
