Features of financial sources of innovative activity in the Russian Federation

The article considers the sources of financing innovation activities in Russia. A comparative description of the sources of R & D expenditures in developed countries and the Russian Federation is given. The need for state intervention, with the aim of cooperation between the state and business sector, as well as the sector of higher education in the innovation sphere is identified.
