Peculiarities of supply chains formation in the Chinese gas market

The article analyzes the structure of the world energy balance with the justification for increasing the share of natural gas in it. The classification of the gas industry and the prospects for its development in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in China, are presented. While analyzing supply chains in the Chinese gas market, modern trends in the regulation of prices for domestic supplies, China''s participation in international energy projects, as well as prospects for the development of Russian-Chinese relations in the matter of gas supplies are examined in detail. The conclusion is drawn that, despite the fact that at the present moment Russia is not one of China''s main energy partners, the prospects for development in this area are very large and mutually beneficial for both countries.
