The peculiarities of developing readiness of people with disabilities to study at a higher school

The article discusses the issue of social and psychological readiness of people with disabilities to study at the university through the determination of the motivation type for continuing education and research of its impact on the ability to adapt in the society. It was found that the people with disabilities of "autonomous" type show greater independence from the educational process, their motivation is primarily aimed at the result, as opposed to the people with disabilities of "dependent" type, who response to any educational changes (internal and external) and the effectiveness of learning doesn't dependent on them.
