Musical composition interpretation: features of word picture formation

The work is devoted to a figurative component of musical thinking. Taking into consideration the wind instruments training techniques, the author analyzes the specificity of interpretation. There is also a critical review of a musical-artistic image and art interpretation theory condition, the description of the mechanism of the ideal (mental) musical image formation. The author provides with general conclusions concerning musical playing and interpretation sense.
