Peculiarities of forming and problems of protection of collections of museums of sport

At the end of the XX - beginning of the XXI century the museum community came to the conclusion that apart from the changes that touched the world as a whole, they occurred in it. One of them was the emergence of a new type of museums - sports museums. Like any socio-cultural phenomenon and type, they have their own characteristics and specifics.
