This article explores the specific features of the pedagogical process aimed at developing sustainable skills in the use of combat techniques (hereinafter referred to as CTC) among employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. It analyzes the legal nature and practical significance of CTC as a tool of forceful influence, which is strictly regulated by police legislation and the principle of proportionality. The article examines the methodological and psychological-pedagogical aspects of teaching CTC, which are driven by the need to integrate physical, tactical, and legal competencies. Special attention is paid to the formation of operational and tactical thinking, which allows for the selection and application of techniques in accordance with the actual operational situation, as well as psychological readiness for forceful contact.
