Peculiarities of the formation of a non-state sector in the sphere of social services

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the formation of non-state sector in the sphere of social services in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The study reveals that one of the characteristic features of the transition period in the Donetsk People’s Republic is that the beginning of transformation of the entire system of social relations was not based on a thoroughly developed holistic concept that allowed to find a balanced and comprehensive approach to the development of social processes. The limited number of specifically justified proposals for the development and functioning of the nonstate sector in the field of social services in the Donetsk People’s Republic makes the research topic relevant. It has been studied that the interrelation of elements of the social protection system is ensured by coordinated action of its individual links, which form and perform social, institutional, economic, security, and market functions. The article determines that the activities of subjects of nonstate sector in the field of social services can include several directions, which allows its participants to take advantage of various types of social services and thereby improve their quality. The paper identifies existing problems and prospects for the development of the non-state sector in the field of social services in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
