Process of the soldering the pyrographite ring to the titanic plug in compacting units of the turbo-pump aggregate of rocket NK-33 engine by silver solder alloyed by titan is considered. The analysis of causes of destruction of the described compactings and search the ways of increase the exit of suitable production is carried out. By means of metalgraphic analysis the assessment of quality of the soldering is made. The plasticity assessment of seal by means of measurement the microhardness on width the seal, and also separate phases is made. It is established that in this type of compacting when cooling after the soldering there is internal tension which is partially removed due to plasticity of a solder seal. Essential increase in hardness of seal probably due to formation of intermetallic particles and carbides on the basis of titan is revealed.
