The formation of the spatial-temporal comprehension among children with developmental disability

The features of the formation of spatio-temporal representations in primary schoolchildren with mental retardation are considered. The characteristic of their psychophysical development is given, taking into account which correctional work is carried out. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and diagnostic results, specific features of spatio-temporal representations in primary school children with mental retardation are revealed. The conclusion is drawn about the need for new research and the search for ways to correct the deficiencies of the perceptual-speech sphere of such children.
