In a constantly changing market conditions it is important to maintain companies’ competitiveness and efficiency. The choice of a strategy that meets the needs of the business, its implementation are the fundamental factors of the management system of the company. The article deals with the methodology, principles and main stages of formation of HR management strategy in foreign companies. The features of the SWOT, COPS, PESTEL analysis application at the stage of management system analysis are formulated and the role of the KPI at the stage of HR strategy development is defined.
