Features of the plural form of nouns in French and Turkmen languages

The article examines the peculiarities of the formation of plural forms of nouns in French and Turkmen languages. Comparative analysis reveals morphological and syntactic patterns, as well as differences in the functioning of the number category in the two language systems. It is noted that French relies on analytical and historically reduced forms, while Turkmen retains agglutinative models with clear affixation.
