The article deals with the specific features of functioning of cases in the Northern dialects of the Udmurt language. The features in the quantitative structure of a case paradigm of the Northern dialects are identified, specific phenomenon in external appearance and semantics of separate cases of the mentioned dialects are revealed in the article.
