Features of the German concept of relations with Russia

The article analyzes the dynamics of evolution of FRG foreign policy approaches to relations with Russia during the period of Angela Merkel chancellery. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of the general strategic approaches of the West to relations with Russia on the eastern policy of Germany. The article shows the basic principles and objectives guiding the Russian direction of Germany's modern foreign policy.
