In modern conditions, local resources are becoming important. This is due to the general trend towards decentralization of management inherent in the market economy. One of the resources that can be used to form local poles of growth is the reserves of common mineral resources. The article deals with the management features of enterprises engaged in their extraction and processing. Taking these features into account makes it possible to improve the efficiency of management of mining and industrial complexes of local importance.
