Features of public, social and legal modernization of Russia (Russia) in XIV - the first third XVI centuries

Modernization is a natural process of development of any society and the state. This publication aims to show how it has historically developed in Russia (Russia) for nearly two and a half centuries. With its preparation scientific methods of research: historical and logical are applied. The com-parative analysis shows that our country during the reporting period (XIV - the first third of XVI century) developed as a medieval society with the pri-ority of religious values. However, these values have helped the preservation of Russian (Russian) spirituality and identity. The country and the society on the path of independent development, and continuing apprehended many positive traditions of Byzantine culture. It was the need of liberation from the power of the Horde that had an important incentive, which formed the modernization unification processes in the Russian state. By the end of the beginning of XV-XVI centuries there was a single Russian state with appro-priate policies. At the head of the country was now the "Emperor of All Rus-sia." It was important now to consolidate the achievements in the legal or-der. This made Ivan III adopt a new Code of Law (1497). This document con-firmed the higher level feudalization public, i.e. public relations. The feudal lords were able to crime as "Good" (feudal) men (gentlemen) could "oblite-rate" a person opposing them. Feudal right formed as a right, i.e. a privilege of the ruling class. Overall crime system is much more complex. In the atten-tion of the feudal law enforcement officers hit the broader social layers (such as slaves). It should be borne in mind that in Russian law system a huge role was always played by the sovereign’s personality of. In this respect, N.M. Karamzin emphasized the positive in activities of Vasily III. In general, it is important to note that the country in the period under review continued to be modernized in the original basis. It has preserved and strengthened Or-thodox civic orientation. The centralization of the conditions successfully overcame previous specific orders.
