Characteristic features of state policy regarding young families: case study of housing problem solution in Karelia

The article considers the key features and main problems of the young family in the modern Russian society. The author focuses on the problem of housing conditions and its improvement. The article analyses the main legislative initiatives, which contribute to the solution of the housing problem in the Republic of Karelia, and concrete results achieved within recent years.
