Features of the state social policy in developed Western European countries

The article reveals peculiarities of the state social policy in the developed Western European countries on the ground of the analysis of laws, statutes and regulations. The author studies its content and experience since the middle of the 20th century. The system of statutory social standards and procedures for their implementation has ensured the high standard of living for most citizens of the developed Western European countries. Thus this experience has become highly relevant in the context of Russian state social policy.
