Peculiarities of civilian participation in the conditions of modern digital space

The article is devoted to a theoretical explanation of the phenomenon of digital activism. According to the author, this concept is the most relevant for discussing all cases of civil and political campaigns in which the digital network infrastructure is used. Particular attention is paid to the problem of correlation of digital media and direct practices of civil activists, where the main question is whether the digital space is only a tool or a social construction with specific features.
