Surgical treatment of patients with thyroid diseases

We analyzed the results of diagnostic and surgical tactics, as well as surgical outcomes in patients with various thyroid diseases operated in the Department of Surgery of the Private Healthcare Institution ‘Railway Clinical Hospital’ of the ‘Russian Railways’ Corporation between 2013 and 2015. We used a tailored approach to surgery according to the type of goiter and its severity. The most common surgery was thyroidectomy.
