We report our experience of surgical management of 217 patients with distal radius fractures. In all cases we used anatomic volar plating system. In 178 cases (82%) plate osteosynthesis was done via standart volar approach, whereas in 39 cases (18%) - via minimal invasive approach. In general, plate osteosynthesis using this system could be characterised as simple, easy-to-use, comfortable and carefully thought. This made it possible to achieve ideal reduction in 215 cases (99%). The main goal of surgeon in such situation is to decrease complication's rate, especially connected with aggression of surgical approach. This is a reserve for achieving good and excellent results.
