Features and innovative areas of the development of high-viscosity oil resources

The paper is devoted to assessing the status of work on the development and introduction of modern technologies for the extraction of HVO in the Komi Republic. Solving of the main problem of the Oil industry - the problem of increasing oil recovery - depends on the effectiveness of this assessing. The analysis of the factors impeding the development of high-viscosity oil is done. Perspective technologies for development of high-viscosity oil deposits of Komi are proposed.
