Features and prospects for development of the potential of young scientists in Russian science

The article reflects current issues of realizing the potential of young scientists, the evolution of Russian science as a whole, as well as the role and place of young scientists in the development of the country and society. Statistical data reflecting the state of Russian science, its problems and prospects are presented. The article focuses on the role of state support for young scientists, and also highlights some problematic issues of indicators that the state seeks to achieve in the development of science.
