Peculiarities and problems of S.L. Frank's philosophical psychology

The aim of the study is to analyze the basic categories of S.L. Frank’s philosophical psychology, as well as to determine their place and significance in the work of the Russian thinker. The novelty of the work lies in the disclosure of the subject of philosophical psychology in the S.L. Frank’s speculative system. The problematic of the research passes through the category of the human soul in the ontological, epistemological and anthropological dimensions. The deformation of man’s ontological status in today's secular world leads to the loss of integrity and value of spiritual categories. The historical and philosophical analysis of S.L. Frank’s heritage shows a critical reflection of the strictly positivist approach to the practice of describing and understanding one’s mental life. The study clarifies the place of this category in the general system of being, defines the nature of the mental world and the importance of the philosophical and scientific position of psychology.
