This article examines the features of political marketing, defines the concept of “political marketing”, and reveals its main elements and methods. A review of various scholarly approaches to understanding political marketing proposed by leading researchers is provided. Particular attention is paid to the political marketing process, which consists of market research, segmentation, targeting and positioning, as well as the role of the 4P marketing mix in developing effective political campaigns.
