Features of identification of firearms by traces on bullets aggressively exposed

The article deals with the issues of establishing the dependence between the stability of the features of parts and details of firearms on fired bullets and the impact on the bullets of the environment after the shot. In the theory and practice of forensic ballistic examination there is accumulated methodical material on the establishment of the identification period by traces on bullets exposed to different effects. However, there are some problematic issues related to the analysis of changes in traces on bullets stayed for a certain period of time in aggressive environment.
