The article is devoted to actual problems of information support of regional image campaigns. The author emphasizes that the successful solution of the concept of the information campaign accompanying rebranding depends on the successful positioning of the region in the media space and the formation of a new positive image of the territory. It is important to convince the regional elite that territorial branding in Russia should be of the nature of modernization, helping the region to integrate into the communication space with the help of professional public relations, glossy advertisements and modern information technologies.
