The article examines the concept of staff marketing and the feasibility of applying this concept in the state and municipal administration. The features of personnel management in the GMU, which affect the elements of the marketing complex of the state authorities, are highlighted. The advantages of applying a marketing approach in the formation of the public service staff are described.
