Features of the use of electronic and automated systems in the customs procedure of customs transit in order to improve the transport and logistics sector

Automation processes in customs authorities play an important role in speeding up customs operations and customs control. Currently, the Customs Service of the Russian Federation is going through a stage of optimization of customs operations through the introduction of automated and digital systems and information processing processes during customs control. The article analyzes the automation of the customs procedure of customs transit and movement of goods within the framework of international multimodal transportation. Based on the results of the analysis, the problems associated with the use of electronic and automated systems are identified and directions for their solution are given.
