Features of the self-concept in students prone to procrastination

The article is devoted to the study of the Self-concept of students with different levels of procrastination. Procrastination is understood as a psychological phenomenon of postponing the subject of planned affairs, despite the negative consequences. The study suggests that procrastination may affect the formation of the Self-concept of personality. To confirm the hypothesis, diagnostic tools were selected to measure the level of procrastination and reveal the content characteristics of the three components of the Self-concept: emotional, cognitive and behavioral. The author used "Scale of procrastination" by B. W. Tuckman in the adaptation of T. L. Krukova; personality questionnaire "Type of behavioral activity" by L. I. Wasserman and N.
