Features of endocrine regulation in sexual cycle at sheep and goats

Endocrine regulation of an estral cycle at the small ruminant is studied. It is established that at a does of Zaanensky breed and ewes of the Romanovsky breed there is a dependence of sexual recurrence on a season. Estradiol concentration in both animal species serum of blood reaches the maximum values in a stage of sexual cycle excitement. Increase of progesterone concentration in serum of blood is noted in a braking stage. During a seasonal anaphrodisia low level of both hormones is noted.
