30 newborns and children of the first months of life were examined for the examination of TORCH infection. IFA markers of the latter (toxoplasmosis, chlamydia, mycoplasmosis, herpes I – II, cytomegalovirus infection) were carried out using the Vector-Best test system. Intrauterine infection in full-term and premature newborns is characterized by multidirectional changes in blood parameters: hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes, leukocyte formula, acid-base state, which reduces their diagnostic value. In newborns and children of the first months of life, in the presence of seropositive markers of intrauterine infection, certain hematological changes in peripheral blood are detected.
