Characteristics of clinical presentations in male patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and its correlation with heart rate variability index

Disease debut in men with SLE was in the age of 10-42 years, mean age 22,5 years. Analyzes of these patients' medical reports revealed that in 11 from 12 patients had this disease after acute viral or bacterial infection that one may consider to be trigger. Process activity was: 5 men - III, 4 men - II, 3 men - I. Mean activity index SLEDAI 2K was 9. Chronic process was in 11 cases, subacute process was in 1 case.
