Blood coagulative and fibrinolytic activity was studied in patients with chronic fistulose osteomyelitis and purulent process localization in femur and leg. It was demonstrated that a tendency towards hypercoagulation was revealed in the preoperative period. Increased blood coagulability was caused by getting of tissue decay products into general blood flow, thereby resulting in potentiation of blood thromboplastic activity, increase of fibrinogen concentration, decrease of free heparin concentration.
