The article examines China’s concept of global security (GSI) as an alternative model to traditional security. It is important to note that traditional approaches to security, based on Western values and zero-sum logic, have led to the fragmentation of the global system and the exacerbation of conflicts. Under these circumstances, China proposes an inclusive architecture based on the principles of ‘common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security’ aimed at overcoming the dichotomy between national interests and collective stability. Particular attention is paid to the role of the GSI in resolving the Middle East crisis: the trilateral joint statement by China, Saudi Arabia and Iran (2023) demonstrates the practical effectiveness of the initiative. The article notes that China, based on the concept of a ‘community with a shared future for mankind’, seeks to reform the global security governance system, offering an alternative to Western alliances and bloc politics. This reflects Beijing’s desire to play an active role in shaping a multipolar world order.
