The article deals with the peculiarities of cross-cultural communication and management in modern business culture. The paper identifies a number of key concepts such as guanxi - communication, mianzi - person, zhongjian ren - mediator and he - harmony, which significantly influence the specificity of business relations in China. Particular attention is paid to the approaches to time as a management tool in Chinese and Western cultures, as well as the adaptation of Western management tools in the Chinese business environment.
