In modern economic conditions, companies in various fields of activity should use marketing tools and approaches. The article highlights the marketing features of energy companies, taking into account the specifics of their products. The role of marketing research in the activities of energy companies is considered in detail. Practical examples of the use of marketing tools by Gazprom and the RusHydro group of companies are given.
