This article talks about the specifics of sports management management, examines the very concept of managing a range of sports directions. The relevance of this work lies in the fact that most people do not notice the huge work of their leadership for the merits of athletes. The problem of "successful" club management is also raised. Sports activities such as basketball and hockey are dealt with. The main directions of the work of directors of the sports business are highlighted. And based on the results of the analysis, the key features of the administration of entrepreneurial activity in sports are deduced.
