Particular qualities of behavior verb metaphorization

The article observes the issue of metaphorization of lexical units denoting the subject’s behavior in the Russian language. The microsystem of verbs denoting ‘obedience/disobedience’ is analyzed with particular attention. Actions interpreted by Russian speakers as deeds or other forms of behavior are controlled by the subject. When the position of a personal subject is taken by impersonal nouns (artefacts, naturefacts, etc.), the verb's semantic structure is changed: imagery appears or intensifies while the ‘emotive evaluation/ seme weakens; in some cases the syntactic structure of the sentence may also be modified.
