Specificity of methodological pluralism of E.N. Trubetskoy's philosophy of law

The study considers one of the ways to overcome the crisis in law by the example of analysis of the search for new methodological approaches by E.N. Trubetskoy, in the crisis of legal science at the turn of the 19th - 20th centuries. The ideological and theoretical foundations of E.N. Trubetskoy's philosophy of law are shown, in particular, the principles of total unity and integral knowledge of philosophy of V.S. Soloviev, concepts of natural law, theoretical and legal approach of B.N. Chicherin and others, who influenced the anti-crisis methodological strategy of E.N. Trubetskoy. Analyzing the features of the contribution of E.N. Trubetskoy in the theory and philos-ophy of law, the author concludes on the integrative orientation of the methodology of E.N. Trubetskoy in the study of law and the use of the principle of methodological pluralism. This approach allows us to re-evaluate the contribution of E.N. Trubetskoy's philosophy of law in the history of the development of legal methodology.
