The features of international cooperation of European countries in the sphere of environmental protection

The article reviews the issues of international common environmental policy in Europe, and in particular in the states of the European Union (EU). Factors influencing the formation of environmental policy, the legal framework governing international environmental policy, and the contribution of international organizations, both under the auspices of the EU and independent non-governmental associations, to European environmental protection activities are studied. The article is based on the fact that European countries are the most active region in the world, in the field of aspirations for greening their economic activities. To do this, they have the necessary experience and regulatory framework, which is constantly being improved.
