Special aspects of youth self-government in Perm krai

The article deals with youth self-government and its place in the local government system. The activities of the Youth Parliament of Perm Krai and the Perm Youth Council are analyzed on the basis of the documentation, their advantages and disadvantages are described and further plans for the development are given. Also, the author considers the ways of interaction between students and the local authorities. A conclusion is drawn about the current opportunities for young people to participate in the local governance and about the effectiveness of social mobility.
