Features of morphological structure of skeletal muscular system in newborn hybrid pigs of the Novosibirsk' population

The morphological parameters of skeletal muscular system were determined in newborn hybrid piglets of the Novosibirsk' population obtained as result of cross of domestic pigs of the Landras breed with boar of the European, Asiatic and Usuries subspecies; it was done comparison with pigs of the Landras and Semirechenskaya breeds and also with wild pigs of Bryansk' population. It was shown, that development of muscular tissue in original form and hybrids of Novosibirsk' population have common features. The absolute and relative mass of skeletal muscles, the density and diameter of muscular fibers in hybrids of the Semirechenskaya breed and pigs of the Novosibirsk population have intermediate value between wild and domestic animals. The maximal mass of skeletal muscles was revealed in hybrid piglets of the Novosibirsk' population from simple cross with boars of the Asiatic subspecies.
