Morphological peculiarities of Novosibirsk Ob region vessels in early iron age

The purpose of this article is to detect morphological peculiarities of vessels. We considered 76 objects from burial mounds Early Iron Age Bolsherechye culture: Novyy Sharap-1, Novyy Sharap-2, Milovanovo-2 and Milovanovo-8. We used a set of methods, including “Program of the statistical processing of ceramics from the archaeological excavations” of V.F. Gening, the calculating general proportionality of shapes method of A.A. Bobrinsky and the shapes analysis method of H.A. Nordström. It’s concluded about similarity of morphological traditions of these sites, confirmed by set of methods used. On the general background products of Novyy Sharap-1 are allocated, most of them belong to the same category, predominate vessels of “habitual” shapes. That shows the cultural fixity of the complex and absence of dynamic evolution, detected on other sites. Also, the groups of products were allocated made in the same morphological tradition.
