At present, the development of management of employees of state bodies is an acute problem of the entire civil service system. It is obvious that the efficiency and effectiveness of the civil service is directly dependent on the efficiency of the work of civil servants at the local level, and, accordingly, on the effectiveness of stimulating and motivating civil servants. The article examines the essence of motivation and incentives for civil servants, highlights the key features of this institution.
